Our first shipment for the new year has arrived, and we’ve got some great new gear. The Omnispool has been reviewed by Midcurrent.com as one of the best accessories: It’s rare that I gush about “gimmicky” accessories, but this is quite simply the best gadget I’ve used to change lines in the field or at home without tangles, another person, or complicated machines. It works fast too. I’ve changed lines in under five minutes and been back out fishing.
Also new are some great waterproof boat-boxes from Orvis – capable of holding 1000 flies or so, these are a great functional design with see-through lids and slit-foam design.
New dvd’s are in stock, including the new Waypoints film from Confluence (featuring a particularly awesome bonefish segment), and the acclaimed Only A River Knows dvd.
We’ve got a great new beginners vice from Orvis, and some excellent value tying scissors for the fly tiers out there.
Have a great summer on the water, the hoppers are just starting on the rivers and the black spinners are hatching well on the lakes. We have plenty of both ties in store.
